Koenigsegg Regera. Protected and Ready to Rule.

This amazing vehicle has the distinction of being the first one delivered to Dallas. Thanks to our friends at Koenigsegg Dallas, Park Place Premier Collection, we had the opportunity to fully protect this special order, sweet mandarin pearl, orange Koenigsegg Regera. Also unique for this installation, all work was done on site and in the showroom.  Hope you enjoy this one as much as we did. In the Swedish language Regera means “to reign” or “to rule” and this 1,500 horsepower hypercar will certainly rule the road or on the track, rocketing effortlessly from 0-to-60 mph in 2.8 seconds… 0-to-249 mph in less than 20 seconds… making it the fastest-accelerating car in the world. It is electronically restricted to a maximum speed of 255 mph. To protect the paint, we applied XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS™ paint protection film. This is a virtually invisible urethane layer that protects your vehicle’s paint from everyday damages including scuffs, scratches, chips, and more. This film is self-healing, provides protection from discoloration, is resistant to stain, and comes with a 10-year warranty. A must have on an impressive investment such as this. And for that extra layer of protection and shine, we applied XPEL FUSION PLUS™ ceramic coating. This professionally applied product is specifically formulated to use on XPEL paint protection film. It enhances gloss and increases color depth, improves stain resistance, and has a self-cleaning hydrophobic formula. We also applied XPEL PRIME XR window film, that has a multi-layer, nano-ceramic technology and provides superior heat rejection, blocking up to 98% of the infrared heat. And that the Skin Cancer Foundation recommends as an effective UV protectant. Do you have questions about window tint, paint protection film or ceramic coating? See our services pages for more details or let us know how we can help. You can contact us online or ask for Houston Orona if you come by our location near Dallas Love Field.

Automotive Window Tint Frequently Asked Questions

As the temperature begins to heat up, we anxiously anticipate freedom from our new normal of shelter in place or some version of self-quarantine. We want to get out, rekindle the love affair we have with our vehicles, and prepare for those daily commutes back to the office or much-needed, weekend road trips. With all that in mind, our customers have been asking more questions about the topic of window tint. From recent conversations, we have narrowed it down to five. Plus, added a few photos of recent tint installations – enjoy.   Do I Need Window Tint?  There are many reasons our customers ultimately decide to install window tint: Reduced glare from the sun, enhancing visibility and reducing eye strain; Blocks solar heat radiation, keeping vehicles cool and improve fuel efficiency; and Protection from harmful UV rays, that can cause skin cancer and skin damage. UItimately, it's your decision. What does VLT Mean?  The percentage of light that a window tint film allows to pass through your car windows is called the VLT (Visible Light Transmission), and each state has different legal allowable limits. A Higher VLT means that more light can pass through the window tint film. Example: a 75% tint will allow 75% of the light to pass through whereas a 25% tint will only allow 25% of the light to pass through, making the 25% tint a much darker film.   This 2019 Ford GT received the complete package by our installer Landon - XPEL PRIME XR PLUS window tint, XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS paint protection film and topped off with XPEL FUSION ceramic coating. Protection and peace of mind for miles...and years to come.   Are There Different Kinds of Window Tint?  Yes. Film and film performance levels vary because of how the film is made. Films can be dyed, hybrid, nano-ceramic or – as with XPEL PRIME XR PLUS™ - made with a proprietary blend of metal and metal oxide nano particles. Depending on type, though, infrared heat rejection levels will vary from 45% to 98%. For more information check out our window tint page. Will Window Tint Interfere with My Cell Phone Reception?  That depends on the type of window film you choose. For ceramic films no, they will not interfere with radio, cellular, or Bluetooth signals. Landon working on another sweet ride...this 2019 McLaren Senna GTR is completely protected with XPEL PRIME XR PLUS window tint, XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS PPF, and XPEL FUSION ceramic coating. But, is this one street legal? Stop by and we'll let you know.   Does XPEL Provide a Warranty?  Yes. All XPEL PRIME™ automotive window film is backed by a transferable, lifetime warranty against peeling, cracking, bubbling or turning purple. If you have any other window tint related questions, we are here to answer them. Just call, stop by our XPEL Dallas location or contact us online.
