This deep blue 2022 Tesla Model S came into our installation shop for tint and paint protection film. First, we treated the Model S with a self-healing ULTIMATE PLUS PPF clear bra. Then, we applied FUSION PLUS ceramic coating over the PPF for an additional hydrophobic layer of protection. The combination will better protect the car’s surfaces against road debris. Lastly, the Tesla’s rear and side glass were tinted with PRIME XR PLUS UV protective window film. The windshield is tinted with 70 percent and 30 percent for the side and rear windows. The smart-tech EV is now better protected against potential paint damage. In addition, the interior is now protected against 99 percent of harmful UV rays.
For 2022, Tesla refreshed the interior and exterior on the Model S. These design refreshes include the new yoke-style steering wheel. In addition, the Model S is available in the new Plaid performance variant with a rated 1,020 horsepower. As a result, Tesla also included a price hike for the base Long Range trim Model S.
