This 2022 BMW X5 is fresh from the dealership. Its owner brought it over to our XPEL install center for some PPF. We fitted the X5 SUV with a self-healing ULTIMATE PLUS ™ paint protection film ‘clear bra’. This XPEL service protects a vehicle’s hood, front bumper, fenders, side mirrors, and headlights. In addition to the full-front, the BMW X5 wears XPEL PPF on its rocker panels, front doors, and on its infotainment screen. XPEL paint protection film can also be used inside your vehicle to protect interior components like digital screens and trim pieces.
The 2022 BMW X5 is offered with three different drivetrains. At the top of the list is the BMW X5 M50i with a twin-turbocharged V8 producing 523-hp. As a result, this family luxury SUV can sprint from zero to 60mph in under four seconds. In addition, all variants of the BMW X5 come with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
ULTIMATE PLUS ™ paint protection film is a transparent, durable film developed to protect surfaces against scratch marks, paint chips, and corrosion brought on by environmental contaminants. Pollutants like bird droppings and acids from bugs. ULTIMATE PLUS ppf is virtually unnoticeable and leaves a high-gloss shine on wrapped surfaces. The paint protection film ‘self-healing’ properties work with direct sunlight to vanish away light paint damage like swirl marks and faint scratches.
XPEL offers protection PPF services in a partial-front covering the front bumper and partially covering the hood and side fenders. One popular PPF service is the full-front known as a ‘clear bra,’ covering the entire hood, fenders, front bumper, side mirrors, and headlamps. However, one can always request to wrap the whole vehicle in XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS ™ paint protection film. Our ppf can also be applied to interiors and trim pieces like carbon fiber wings and rear diffusers.
