For 2022, Tesla changed the name of the Long Range model to simply the Model X. Changes for the new model year includes a slight decrease in range from 363 to 351. The Plaid variant also sees a change in range from 340 to 335. However, the Model X Plaid still offers a tri-motor drivetrain to produce a claimed 1,020-hp. According to Tesla, the Model X Plaid can sprint from zero to 60 in 2.5 seconds. The unique Yoke steering wheel also carries over to the 2022 production year.
